The Bloggers' Twelve Days of Christmas

Here's my version of the Twelve Days of Christmas - along with some related must-haves! I hope you won't mind that I skipped right to the last verse . . .

The Bloggers' Twelve Days of Christmas
On the twelfth day of Christmas
The blog world sent to me
Twelve bloggers blogging,
Eleven foll’wers foll’wing,
Ten tags a-clouding,*
Nine ladies crafting,
Eight minutes writing,
Seven hours re-writing,
Six pics a-cropping,
Five New Com-ments!
Four new ideas,
Three more hits,
Two giveaways,
And a way to express myself!

And what could make your Christmas days brighter than these Twelve Days of Christmas plates from Williams-Sonoma?

Or these Boho Holiday plates from Rosanna?

Or, these Twelve Days table linens from Williams-Sonoma?

Or Twelve Days ornaments like these from Crate and Barrel?

Hope your December is off to a good start!

*A Cloud Tag is a visualization of word frequencies. On my blog the topics appear in a cloud tag - the topics that appear more frequently are larger and bolder. There are lots of websites that let you make your own cloud tag - try it for your next presentation/art project/school project/blog, etc. Just google cloud tag and you'll see . . .

  1. I found you via Jane at Artfully Graced, your post header caught my attention AND I just love your 12 Days version.

Your blog is delightful and I laughed when I read about the Quit Rate for cookbooks. I went through my cookbook purge a few years ago, but I sold them on Half.com. Since most were out of print I made a pretty penny on them. Enough to go out and buy a few replacements! lol

  2. Rhonda - Thanks for stopping by - I'm glad you like the 12 Days. The bad thing about them is that I can't get the song out of my head now! Selling your old cookbooks on Half.com is a great idea - we usually sell things on eBay, but that's not the best market for books. Thanks for the idea.
    Cheers,

  4. I love it! Thanks for the cloud tag tip, I was wondering how people had those. I'm also loving the Boho Christmas Dishes, really pretty! Hope you have a great Wednesday!

  5. I'd like those 12 plates. I think your blog is terrific and funny and fantastic because, as you've clearly stated, you do believe etiquette may still have a place in the modern world.

Found you by pressing buttons here and there on blogs I like so you being one of their favorites is like have a great pre-review.

    Best regards,
    Tish
